When Greg met Cherry in 2009, Cherry knew nothing about mortgages. Greg took a chance and hired her – as a loan originator, as a processor, and eventually as a closer that would assist in GFL’s pivotal transition from mortgage broker to correspondent lender in April 2014. Her knack for organization, attention to detail, and obsession with problem-solving (and love for coffee) have helped her play a fluid role in the company over the years. Her official title is now “Director of Operations,” but she continues to play a role in several aspects of the business. Though she mainly operates behind the scenes, she cares deeply about helping colleagues and aiding the company in providing an amazing consumer experience.

Brian Chan

Like a lot of new college graduates in 2004, Brian had no real vision of what he wanted to do for a career. After working on the internal side of mortgage banking creating the daily rate sheet, he decided to try his hand dealing directly with the consumer in helping them achieve their dream of homeownership. Learning the inner workings of the loan process from building a daily rate sheet to drawing loan documents has allowed him to have a better understanding of the loan process and what issues may arise throughout the process. This has allowed him to help countless families over the years. In Brian’s spare time, he enjoys traveling, landscape photography and spending time with his wife and daughter.
